1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of promdriz, a quiz app operated by EMEF EMPIRE GmbH, Wandsbeker Königstraße 35, 22041 Hamburg, Germany (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use promdriz

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need your parent or guardian's permission to use the app. By signing up or playing as a guest you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

Keep your password secret and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Please do not use your real name as your username.

4. Fair play and conduct

Do not:

cheat, use bots or scripts to answer, or exploit bugs; harass, threaten or impersonate others; choose usernames that are offensive or that reveal other people's personal information; try to disrupt or break into the service; or use the app for anything unlawful.

We may remove usernames, reset results, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

5. Schools and rankings

You may add your high school or college to your profile. Rankings are for fun, are not official and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any school. School names are used only to identify schools.

6. Content and our rights

Questions, design, text and software in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial play. Quiz questions may contain facts about brands, people and media; those names belong to their owners and no endorsement is implied.

7. Availability and changes

We provide the app as is and may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. We may update these terms and will post the new date here.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that answers are error free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 100.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you use the app as a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected. Subject to such rules, the courts of Hamburg, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction.
